A stereotype places scientists in an "ivory tower". Too theoretical, research is said to be unconcerned with the concrete problems that social, health and public policy personnel and specialists face on a daily basis. What is the real situation? Is this commonplace now outdated?
12 years after its launch, the LIVES Centre is testing its research activity on vulnerabilities and life courses by inviting a discussion on this link between research and practice. Is there no exchange between these two worlds? The LIVES Centre invites anyone active in research, social work, health or local or cantonal public policy who is interested in forging this link to a round table at IDHEAP on 16 November from 5.30 to 7pm.
The event will be held in French. Simultaneous translation into English will be available.
